How to increase the visibility of your Virtual Assistant Business

As a Virtual Assistant, your expertise is invaluable—but are your potential clients seeing it?

Ensuring that you and your business stand out is more important than ever.

Visibility isn’t just about being seen; it’s about being remembered.

It’s about making the right connections and ensuring your name is the first that comes to mind when someone is searching for the services you offer.

Whether you're just starting out or looking to expand your reach, increasing your visibility is crucial. From guest blogging and networking to building a strong Google Business profile, there are numerous strategies you can put in place to help you get noticed by your ideal clients.

Guest Blogging

Showcasing your knowledge, experience and skill set with a potential new audience is a great way to reach new people. Guest blogging allows you to do just that! I host a number of guest blogs here, if you would like to be included then get in contact.

Reviews

We all love receiving reviews from our clients, but have you considered leaving your clients some reviews? Each time you provide a review that includes your business name, you are potentially reaching out to a new audience.

Google Business Profile

Previously called Google My Business, a Google Business Profile enables you to show up on Google and helps improve your business’ SEO. Having a profile also means you can collect (and showcase!) client reviews. You can link the profile to your business website, include pictures and other important information that can help you be spotted online.

Podcasts

There are lots of podcasts out there that may be listened to by your ideal client. See what you can find on Spotify, Apple podcasts, or similar and consider reaching out to ones you would like to appear on - it’s not as scary as you think!

Awards

Chances are that the area you live in hosts at least some type of business awards. It can be worth exploring whether it would be beneficial for your business to apply for relevant awards. Getting shortlisted (and winning!) helps improve your business reach as well as providing you with a fantastic opportunity to network with other high-achieving businesses.

Networking

The marmite of business ownership! Chances are you either love, or hate, the idea of networking. The brilliant thing about networking is that there are so many different types and styles out there, that with patience, you will find one that you love. Attending networking helps you become more visible to potential clients and helps you learn from other businesses along the way.

Virtual Assistant Visibility Club
